About Mandy

Mandy received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma. Mandy worked previously as a licensed professional counselor in Oklahoma before making her move to Florida in 2019. She has worked extensively with adolescents in a group home setting providing individual, group and family therapy to address issues including depression, anxiety, trauma and disruptive behaviors. Mandy has also worked with at-risk youth in a partial-hospitalization setting. Mandy values the role of therapists engaging in community efforts to promote equality, which has led her to become a Behavioral Health Therapist at METRO. In her free time, Mandy is either roller skating, traveling or listening to music with her dog.
