Meet Dr. Luke Johnsen, Â a dedicated member of the METRO family. Dr. Johnsen has taken the role of Medical Director, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to serving the local community. He successfully completed the Family Medicine Residency at Franklin Square Hospital. Since then, he has diligently practiced his profession across several prominent medical facilities and hospitals, contributing notably to the Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins for an impressive span of 11 years.
Beyond his direct practice, Dr. Johnsen has co-authored several impactful papers on PrEP and public health. These contributions have enriched his professional portfolio and have led him to deliver presentations and provide training to fellow healthcare providers. His areas of expertise include sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and transgender patient care, among other crucial subjects. His influence extends beyond national borders, with his knowledge and insights being shared both nationally and internationally.
In addition to his illustrious medical career, Dr. Johnsen enjoys sailing the open seas and embarking on motorcycle adventures. His passion for hands-on activities is also evident in his various projects in his garage.
