Jacob Gardner

Jacob Gardner is an NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant who brings a dynamic blend of academic excellence and practical experience to Metro Healthy Communities. His academic journey began at Western Kentucky University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Premed, enriched by coursework in areas like Microbiology and Anatomy. He furthered his medical expertise by earning both a Master of Medical Science and a Doctor of Medical Science from Lincoln Memorial University.

Jacob’s professional background is highlighted by his hands-on experience in Primary Care and managing HIV, HCV, PrEP, and NPEP, supported by his specialty certification as an AAHIVM HIV Specialist. His earlier experience includes foundational roles as a Phlebotomy Technician II, where he showcased his skills in lab collection and infection prevention during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, his clinical rotations covered a diverse range of specialties from Orthopedics to Psychiatry, providing him with a broad understanding of different patient care aspects.

Proficient in clinical skills such as suturing, radiograph interpretation, and venipuncture, Jacob is also adept in areas like leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability. These attributes, coupled with his BLS certification, make him a valuable addition to the METRO team, ready to contribute to its mission of providing holistic and comprehensive healthcare services.
