About Lauren 

Lauren Ballard is a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for helping others achieve their full potential. She is a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida, where she earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Lauren’s educational journey also includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida Southern College.

Lauren’s diverse experience in the field of mental health includes completing an internship at the Orlando VA Medical Center. During her internship, she gained valuable experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In the ACUTE care inpatient unit, Laura provided individual and group therapy to Veterans and collaborated with them to develop personalized treatment plans. In the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP), she continued to provide individual therapy to Veterans in an outpatient counseling setting, conducted mental health consults, and facilitated psychoeducational groups. Lauren’s dedication to her clients’ well-being is evident in her completion of measured-based care assessments, safety plans, and risk assessments.

With her educational background, diverse experience, and dedication to her clients’ well-being, Lauren is well-equipped to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients at Metro Inclusive Health.
